Higashi-Muroran Station (東室蘭駅) is a railway station on the Muroran Main Line in Muroran, Hokkaido, Japan, operated by Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido).

Higashi-Muroran Station is served by the Muroran Main Line, and also forms the starting point of the Muroran Main Line Branch to Muroran.

History

The station opened on 1 August 1892. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR Hokkaido. Higashi-Muroran Station became fully accessible on 1 March 2008 following a renovation of the station building.
