Widner Township is one of ten townships in Knox County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,094 (down from 1,132 at 2010 ) and it contained 506 housing units.

History

Widner Township was named for John Widner, a pioneer settler. Kixmiller's Store at Freedlandville was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 41.24 sqmi, of which 41.2 sqmi (or 99.90%) is land and 0.04 sqmi (or 0.10%) is water.
