Wełnica is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Czaplinek, within Drawsko County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It lies approximately 2 km east of Czaplinek, 31 km east of Drawsko Pomorskie, and 113 km east of the regional capital Szczecin. Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. For more on its history, see Drahim County.
