Warrenton–Fauquier Airport is a public airport 14 miles southeast of Warrenton, a town in Fauquier County, Virginia. Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but this airport is HWY to the FAA and has no IATA code.

Accidents and incidents

On December 3, 2023, a 62-year-old pilot was killed while piloting a Beechcraft C23 aircraft when it collided with several trees while attempting to land at the airport. The aircraft had no other occupants other than the pilot, and no one was injured on the ground.
