Warp (Emil LaSalle) is a character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.

Publication history

Warp first appeared in The New Teen Titans #14 (December 1981) and was created by George Pérez and Marv Wolfman.

Fictional character biography

Warp is a French supervillain and a member of the Brotherhood of Evil. In Infinite Crisis, he joins Alexander Luthor Jr.'s Secret Society of Super Villains. In Salvation Run, Warp is killed when Lex Luthor uses him and other villains to power his teleportation device, which self-destructs. However, Warp is resurrected in The New 52 reboot.

Powers and abilities

Warp can fly and open portals between any two locations of his choosing. However, overuse of this ability exhausts him.
