Vidauban

Vidauban is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It lies on the bank of the river Argens.

Climate

Vidauban has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csa). The average annual temperature in Vidauban is 15.6 C. The average annual rainfall is 1008.5 mm with November as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 24.8 C, and lowest in January, at around 7.7 C. The highest temperature ever recorded in Vidauban was 40.3 C on 2 August 2017; the coldest temperature ever recorded was -7.4 C on 12 February 2012.

Population

Since the beginning of the 1980s Vidauban has experienced strong population growth. Within 20 years the population has more than doubled.
