Timothy Donnelly

Timothy Donnelly (born June 3, 1969, Providence, Rhode Island) is an American poet.

Life

He earned his BA from Johns Hopkins University and his MFA in Poetry from Columbia University's MFA in Creative Writing program. He is an associate professor at Columbia University. He became a poetry editor for the Boston Review in 1996. Donnelly is the author of Twenty-Seven Props for a Production of Eine Lebenszeit (Grove Press, 2003), and The Cloud Corporation (Wave Books, 2010). . He was a 2024 James Merrill House Fellow.
