The Shawshank Redemption is the original soundtrack of the 1994 film The Shawshank Redemption starring Morgan Freeman, Tim Robbins, Bob Gunton, William Sadler, Clancy Brown, and others. The original score was composed by Thomas Newman and released via the Epic Soundtrax label on September 20, 1994.
