Thủy Nguyên district
Thủy Nguyên is a municipal city (sub-city) of Haiphong, the third largest municipality of Vietnam. It is known as one of the fastest developing districts in Haiphong and Northern Vietnam. The city will be established in 2025 from the old Thủy Nguyên district. Thủy Nguyên has many features: Thủy Nguyên is also a tourist destination that has a resort with a five-star hotel at Sông Giá. The Bạch Đằng River flows through Thủy Nguyên. The Bính Bridge crosses the Cấm River and connects the district with the city of Hai Phong.
Administrative divisions
Thủy Nguyên is subdivided into 17 wards: An Lư, Dương Quan, Hoa Động, Hòa Bình, Hoàng Lâm, Lập Lễ, Lê Hồng Phong, Lưu Kiếm, Nam Triệu Giang, Phạm Ngũ Lão, Minh Đức, Quảng Thanh, Tam Hưng, Thiên Hương, Thủy Đường, Thủy Hà, Trần Hưng Đạo, and 4 rural communes: Bạch Đằng, Liên Xuân, Ninh Sơn, Quang Trung.
