Solar eclipse of July 15, 2083
A partial solar eclipse will occur at the Moon's descending node of orbit between Wednesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 15, 2083, with a magnitude of 0.0168. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partly obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. A partial solar eclipse occurs in the polar regions of the Earth when the center of the Moon's shadow misses the Earth. The partial solar eclipse will be visible for parts of Greenland. This will be the 72nd and final event in Solar Saros 118.
