San Sperate, Santu Sperau in Sardinian language, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 20 km northwest of Cagliari. It has a population of 8 323 and an area of 26.2 km2. San Sperate borders the following municipalities: Assemini, Decimomannu, Monastir, Sestu, Villasor.
