Ruda is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Ruda lies approximately 30 km south-east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 40 km east of Jihlava, and 149 km south-east of Prague.
