Rough River Dam State Resort Park is a Kentucky state park encompassing 637 acre on Rough River Lake in Grayson county. Rough River Dam of 1959, stretching 1590 ft across and 135 ft high, creates Rough River Lake, a recreational lake of approximately 5100 acre. The lake is home to a variety of bass including largemouth, smallmouth, Guadalupe, spotted, white, yellow, and striped bass as well as other game fish, making fishing a significant portion of its tourism.
