Plouguenast
Plouguenast (Gallo: Ploegenas) is a former commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Plouguenast-Langast.
Climate
Plouguenast has an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). The average annual temperature in Plouguenast is 11.0 C. The average annual rainfall is 966.8 mm with January as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in August, at around 17.5 C, and lowest in January, at around 5.3 C. The highest temperature ever recorded in Plouguenast was 36.9 C on 9 August 2003; the coldest temperature ever recorded was -12.4 C on 2 January 1997.
Population
Inhabitants of Plouguenast are called plouguenastais in French.
