Pindi Said Pur is a village and union council of Jhelum District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is part of Pind Dadan Khan Tehsil. It is located at 32°40'0N 73°20'0E with an altitude of 215 meters. It is widely an agricultural area. The major casts of the village are Mian, Khokhar, Arain, Choudhary, Malik (Awan), Mohajar, Bhatti, Kumhar, Machi,, etc. [2] It is the educational and shopping hub for the surrounding villages. Geography Pindi Saidpur is located on the edge of the Indus plain, about 3 km south of the Salt Range and 4.3 km north of the Jhelum River. It is approximately 52 km west of Jhelum city and 27 km east of Pind Dadan Khan. It is situated 37 km west of the Khewra Salt Mine, which is the second-largest salt mine in the world.
