Ochlocknee is a town in Thomas County, Georgia, United States. The population was 672 in 2020. The city was incorporated on January 1, 1970.

Geography

Ochlocknee is located at 30.97528°N, -84.05556°W (30.975409, -84.055425). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 sqmi, of which 0.9 sqmi is land and 1.05% is water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 605 people, 230 households, and 164 families residing in the town. By 2020, its population increased to 672.

Arts and culture

The city has celebrated Old South Day, a food and arts and crafts festival, every year since 1976. This is the birthplace of the philosopher Ronald K. Hoeflin.
