MTV Hits (British and Irish TV channel)

MTV Hits was a pay television pop music channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland that was owned by Paramount Networks UK & Australia. The channel launched in 2001 replacing MTV Extra. The domestic feed was merged into the pan-European feed of MTV Hits on 1 August 2024, though it continues to originate domestic advertising and teleshopping slots. Until 6 July 2024, the network carried unofficial weekly chart shows based on the OCC top 40 & top 20.
