Midland Independent School District is a public school district in Midland, Texas. Midland ISD contains 41 campuses. It includes the portions of Midland and Odessa in Midland County. Led by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Stephanie D. Howard, over 26,000 students are spread out amongst the various campuses. In 2014-2015, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.
