Malayan flat-shelled turtle
The Malayan flat-shelled turtle (Notochelys platynota) is a species of turtle found in Southeast Asia.
Distribution
It is found in the mainland Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore ) and in parts of the Malay Archipelago (Sumatra, Java, Borneo). Type locality: "in India Orientali", later restricted to "Sumatra; Singapore" by Gray (1863:177).
Habitat
This species can be found in lowland forests and wetlands, including streams and small creeks.
