Lyons is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Bernards Township, in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 228. Lyons is 2.5 mi south-southeast of Bernardsville. Lyons has a post office with ZIP Code 07939.

As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 5,345.

Economy

The Lyons VA Medical Center is a U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospital located here. 38 buildings, containing neuropsychiatric patients resided here in 1931. In 2018, it employed 60 physicians.
