Lowder, Illinois

Lowder is an unincorporated rural village in Sangamon County, Illinois, United States. It is also the seat of Talkington Township, Illinois. Lowder is located along a railroad line 5.5 mi northwest of Virden. Lowder had a post office, which closed on October 24, 2010.
