Liberty Township is one of twelve townships in White County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,064 and it contained 1,971 housing units. Liberty Township was established in 1838.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 33.99 sqmi, of which 33.22 sqmi (or 97.73%) is land and 0.77 sqmi (or 2.27%) is water.
