Konary, Grójec County

Konary is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Warka, within Grójec County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 10 km north of Warka, 25 km east of Grójec, and 42 km south of Warsaw.

History

In 1827 Konary had a population of 393. During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), it was the location of an Einsatzgruppen-operated penal forced labour camp.
