Kistler, West Virginia

Kistler is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Logan County, West Virginia, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 528.

Geography

Kistler is in southern Logan County, 1.5 mi northeast of Man, along Buffalo Creek. It is bordered to the northeast (upstream) by Accoville. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Kistler CDP has a total area of 1.494 sqmi, of which 1.486 sqmi are land and 0.008 sqmi, or 0.54%, are water. The community was affected by the Buffalo Creek flood in 1972.
