Kamienica is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Paczków, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border. It lies approximately 4 km west of Paczków, 28 km west of Nysa, and 74 km west of the regional capital Opole. The village was mentioned under its Latinized Old Polish name Cameniza in a document of 1284, when it part of fragmented Piast-ruled Poland. The name is of Polish origin and is derived from the word kamień, which means "stone".
