Jackson Township is one of fourteen townships in Madison County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,904 and it contained 789 housing units. The townships name derived from President Andrew Jackson's. name.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 29 sqmi, of which 28.92 sqmi (or 99.72%) is land and 0.08 sqmi (or 0.28%) is water.
