The languages (also spelled , Jean, Ye, Gean), or –Kaingang languages, are spoken by the , a group of indigenous peoples in Brazil.

Genetic relations

The Jê family forms the core of the Macro-Jê family. Kaufman (1990) finds the proposal convincing.
