Holvik, Vågsøy
Holvik or Holvika (sometimes spelled Holevik) is a small village on the south side of the island of Vågsøy in Kinn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is situated along the Vågsfjorden, a part of the large Nordfjorden. The village is located about 3 km southwest of the town of Måløy and about 2.5 km east of the village of Vågsvåg. The 0.19 km2 village has a population (2018) of 308 and a population density of 1621 PD/km2. During World War II, Operation Archery took place in and around Holvik and Måløy.
