Gropparello (Piacentino: Gruparél) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 130 km northwest of Bologna and about 25 km south of Piacenza. The territory of the municipality lies between 175 and 1099 m above sea level. The altimetric span is thus 924 m. Gropparello borders the following municipalities: Bettola, Carpaneto Piacentino, Lugagnano Val d'Arda, Morfasso, Ponte dell'Olio, San Giorgio Piacentino. Sights include the Castle of Montechino.
