Gmina Kostrzyn

Gmina Kostrzyn is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Kostrzyn, which lies approximately 21 km east of the regional capital Poznań. The gmina covers an area of 154 km2, and as of 2006 its total population is 15,456 (out of which the population of Kostrzyn amounts to 8,539, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 6,917).
