Girl Scouts Korea

Girl Scouts Korea is the national Girl Scouting/Guiding organization of South Korea. It serves 78,365 members. Founded in 1946, the coeducational organization became a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1957.

Program and ideals

The association is divided in sections according to age: There are also Extension Troops for disabled and working girls. The Guide Motto is 준비, pronounced jun bi, Preparation in Korean.

On my honor, I will try to do my duty to God and my country to help other people at all times to keep the Girl Scout Law.
