Fictional character biography

G'nort is from the planet G'newt, and joins the Green Lantern Corps at the suggestion of his uncle G'newman. Despite his incompetence, he is consistently depicted as brave, loyal, and honorable. Later in his career, G'nort joins the Justice League International. It is later revealed that G'nort and G'newman were given their rings by the Weaponers of Qward, who sought to discredit the Green Lantern Corps. In Emerald Twilight, G'nort loses his power ring and temporarily joins the Darkstars and Super Buddies Antarctica. During the Rann-Thanagar War, G'newt is destroyed and G'nort grapples with the loss of his family.
