Freydoun Malkom

Freydoun Malkom Khan (, also Romanized Firidun; 25 December 1875 – 4 June 1954) was an Iranian fencer representing Qajar Iran (Persia). He competed in the individual épée event at the 1900 Summer Olympics. He is the first Iranian or Persian who participated in the Olympic Games. Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar granted him the royal title of Prince after his father, Mirza Malkam Khan offered a diamond ring to the Shah.
