Disney's BoardWalk Resort

1

Disney's BoardWalk Resort is a unique hotel and entertainment complex situated in the Epcot Resort Area at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando. Opened in 1996, this resort is nestled along Crescent Lake, conveniently positioned between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Managed by Disney Experiences, the resort features a common lobby that connects the Inn and the villas, creating a seamless guest experience. The BoardWalk Resort's design, including the Inn, Atlantic Dance Hall, and other attractions, was crafted by the renowned Robert A.M. Stern Architects. This architectural firm drew inspiration from the charm and elegance of early 20th-century coastal boardwalks, blending nostalgia with modern amenities. The resort offers a variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, making it a vibrant destination for visitors seeking a blend of relaxation and excitement.

Description

Entertainment district

The BoardWalk entertainment district lies along a 0.25 mile boardwalk, reminiscent of Coney Island in New York or Atlantic City, New Jersey. Several restaurants are present on the BoardWalk.

Inn

One of Walt Disney World's "deluxe resorts," the BoardWalk Inn contains decor inspired by the seaside districts of the Northeastern United States during the 20th century. The Inn is a short walk or FriendShip boat ride from the other resorts around Crescent Lake, as well as Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is located directly across the lake from the Yacht and Beach Club resorts.
