Daniel Ross is an American actor and producer. He won the inaugural Children's and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice Performance in a Preschool Animated Program for his role as Donald Duck in Mickey and Minnie Wish Upon a Christmas.

Early life and career

Ross started learning impressions when his mother taught him how to speak like Donald Duck, often speaking to him in her impression. Ross studied Musical Theatre in college and became a background actor and standin in the Washington metropolitan area. Eventually he and his friend Justin Tifane started making indie films including Ninjas vs. Zombies. Prior to becoming a voice actor, Ross was living in Frederick, Maryland and worked at Target. He would often network in the mornings and work at night. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue his voice acting career.

Career

Ross is best known as the third person to have ever officially voiced Donald Duck, beginning with Mickey and the Roadster Racers/Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures and other specials and shorts. He has also portrayed the voices of Lucky the Leprechaun for Lucky Charms Cereal, Starscream, Hound, and Mixmaster in Transformers: The Game. He additionally voices Gizmo and Stripe from the Gremlins franchise for the game MultiVersus. He can be seen in the films Ninjas vs. Zombies, Ninjas vs. Vampires, Ninjas vs. Monsters, as well as Eduardo Sanchez's Lovely Molly.
