Cotignac

Cotignac is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (The Most Beautiful Villages of France) Association.

Cotignac has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csa). The average annual temperature in Cotignac is 13.1 C. The average annual rainfall is 820.6 mm with October as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 22.2 C, and lowest in January, at around 5.3 C. The highest temperature ever recorded in Cotignac was 40.6 C on 7 July 1982; the coldest temperature ever recorded was -13.4 C on 23 January 1963.
