Calahoo

Calahoo is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within Sturgeon County. It is located on Highway 37 near the Sturgeon River, approximately 21 km northwest of Edmonton's city limits. It has an elevation of 680 m. The hamlet is located in Census Division No. 11 and in the federal riding of Westlock-St. Paul. It is named after the nearby Michel Calihoo Reserve established in 1878 on 25,600 acres under Treaty 6.

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Calahoo had a population of 143 living in 59 of its 65 total private dwellings, a change of NaN% from its 2016 population of 123. With a land area of 0.66 km2, it had a population density of in 2021. As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Calahoo had a population of 85 living in 31 of its 32 total private dwellings, a change of NaN% from its 2011 population of 187. With a land area of 0.4 km2, it had a population density of in 2016.
