Borysławka

Borysławka is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Fredropol, within Przemyśl County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine. It lies approximately 11 km south-west of Fredropol, 18 km south-west of Przemyśl, and 63 km south-east of the regional capital Rzeszów.

Geography

The Borysławka stream flows into the Wiar.

History

The first mention of Borysławka dates back to 1494, when Jan Ryboticki received the village. The Ukrainian population was deported and the village was burned in October 1945 as part of Operation Vistula by the Polish Home Army.
