Bill Cody (American football)

William Eugene Cody (born August 2, 1944) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Auburn Tigers. He played six seasons in the NFL for the Detroit Lions (1966), New Orleans Saints (1967–1970), and Philadelphia Eagles (1972). Cody was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in May 2014.
