Artegna is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 km northwest of Trieste and about 20 km northwest of Udine. , it had a population of 2,951 and an area of 11.2 km2. Artegna borders the following municipalities: Buja, Gemona del Friuli, Magnano in Riviera and Montenars.
