The seventh awards included a cameo appearance category, giving an award to a memorable soap cameo. Six awards were given. The ceremony was telecast at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 on NBC. It preempted Another World, which was a 90-minute program at the time. Winners in each category are in bold.
