The meridian 77° east of Greenwich is a line of longitude that extends from the North Pole across the Arctic Ocean, Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and Antarctica to the South Pole. The 77th meridian east forms a great circle with the 103rd meridian west. It is the most populous meridian on Earth, being home to between 113.8 million and 140.0 million people as of 2019.
