The 1916 Pittsburgh Pirates season was the 35th season of the Pittsburgh Pirates franchise; the 30th in the National League. In April 1916, newspapers reported that Otto Knabe would join the team at second base at the end of the month. The Pirates finished sixth in the league standings with a record of 65–89.
